The Effingham Farmer’s Market is back! The market kicked off its opening day last weekend, starting a little sooner in the year than usual. It will continue to take place on the County Courthouse Museum lawn every Saturday through mid to late October, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Head downtown tomorrow morning to see what treasures you can find! The market will supply a wide range of locally grown and prepared food, including fruits, veggies, breads, eggs, pastries, jellies, noodles and more. Enjoy live music and original, hand-made artisan goods like artwork in different mediums, pet treats, rugs, cookbooks, soaps and walking sticks, among others. Flowers and gardening information will also be available.
For more information, search Effingham Farmer’s Market on Facebook; the page will be updated shortly before each market to keep patrons updated on the specific products that will be available that day. If you are interested in becoming a vendor at this year’s market, contact Nancy Sehy at firstname.lastname@example.org.
With such a variety of products, there’s sure to be a little something for everyone. Don’t miss this great opportunity to purchase quality goods and to support local farmers, gardeners and artisans. Buy fresh, buy local and show support for your community. We’ll see you there!
