Moccasin Creek Festival Starts Tomorrow!

Don’t miss the 4th annual Moccasin Creek Festival this Friday through Sunday at The Stage at Lake Sara! Enjoy live Americana musical performances, merchandise, kids’ activities, food and drinks all weekend. This family-friendly festival provides a fun opportunity for music lovers of all ages to spend some time outdoors while hearing great local and nationally recognized performers.

Effingham Farmer’s Market is Back!

11336796_10153280543149659_7012144181708597341_oThe Effingham Farmer’s Market is back! The market kicked off its opening day last weekend, starting a little sooner in the year than usual. It will continue to take place on the County Courthouse Museum lawn every Saturday through mid to late October, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Head downtown tomorrow morning to see what treasures you can find! The market will supply a wide range of locally grown and prepared food, including fruits, veggies, breads, eggs, pastries, jellies, noodles and more. Enjoy live music and original, hand-made artisan goods like artwork in different mediums, pet treats, rugs, cookbooks, soaps and walking sticks, among others. Flowers and gardening information will also be available.
